Remembrance Sunday Road Closures in Helmsley 10:30am-12:15pm
On Remembrance Sunday, Helmsley Town Council, with North Yorkshire Council permission, cones off an area of the Market Place by the Feversham Monument for people to congregate before Church. The council also applies to NYC for Road Closures. Please leave plenty of time to get around to the Church or to join the parade if travelling by car.

D-Day 80 in Helmsley Thurs 6 June 2024 from 2pm
Preparations are under way for the D-Day 80 events in Helmsley Market Place on Thursday 6th June. Helmsley Town Hall will have the D-Day Flag of Peace on show, the Helmsley Town Crier will Cry for Peace at 2pm from the Town Hall balcony and he will be followed by the bellringers of the Church of All Saints in Helmsley with the Ring Out For Peace. New Chairman and Vice Chairman elected
At the town council's Annual Meeting on the 15th May 2023 Councillor Val Arnold was elected as chairman for 2023-2024 and Councillor Carol Swift was elected as vice-chairman.
