Helmsley's verges and open grass areas are cut by a number of different authorities and owners. Helmsley Town Council's areas are shown on the maps below which date from 2021 - slight amendments have been made.

The town council is reviewing its cutting regime and will advertise for contractors to tender in 2024 for the 2025 contract - length to be decided but it will be 3 or 5 years with an optional additional year.

It is likely that the entire Cemetery will be included in the 2025 tender.
