Please contact North Yorkshire Council for a wide range of services including: Helmsley's car parks & their tariffs/machines etc, parking tickets, public conveniences, overnight camping for motorhomes under review, the market, litter, detritus, road cleaning, road and pavement surfaces, blocked gullies, waste services, wheelie bins & garden waste, vegetation overgrowing the highway, housing and social services and much more.

Both the North York Moors National Park Authority and North Yorkshire Council are the Planning Authorities for Helmsley and all planning and tree enquiries should be directed to them - Helmsley Town Council is consulted by them once an application is official.

Helmsley Town Hall is owned and managed by a charity, not by the town council. The Hall can be booked online, not by phone, and the town council does not pass on booking requests.
